Security used to be something only big companies worried about, but in today's world, anyone who is on the internet is in a really tough neighborhood, that extends over the whole world. The internet used to be described as "The Old West" but now it is more like Chicago in the '30s. Identity theft is rampant.
It used to be that viruses used to be brought onto your computer with email or going to the wrong website. But now, connecting to the internet without any protection will have some sort of mal-ware on your computer in a few minutes.
Mal-ware is a word to refer to viruses, worms, Trojan horses and various sorts of spyware. What are they?
